Art can be defined as “the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power”. I believe that there is no natural limit to art. Art is what the artist wants it to be.

My favorite painting technique is pouring. The creation is always random and unpredictable. I also love experimenting with gauche, a water based paint.

On November 24, 2020, I realized a dream of mine and self published my first children’s book, Esi the Elephant. In 2021, I released the 2nd edition. I am continuing to work on children’s books, novels, as well as low and no content books such as journals.

My journey to crochet began with an attempt to knit. I found this very difficult and learned about crochet. When I picked up the hook, it instantly felt right. I enjoy making anything from blankets to hats to animal amigurumi.

Yes, LEGO is art. Most of the time, I am putting together creations designed by a professional LEGO team. Other times, I am working on my own creations (or MOCs). As you might be able to tell, Marvel is my favorite theme. I am currently collecting as many LEGO Marvel Minifigures I can get my hands on.

Tabletop Gaming

Tabletop gaming is a social experience. Magic the Gathering introduced me to the world of trading card games, battle games, and RPGs. My current interests are in selling MTG and Pokémon on TCGPlayer as well as playing Star Wars Legion (I’m a rebel).

Video Gaming

Interestingly, I was never a gamer when I was younger. But when COVID hit, I dove into the world of online gaming and streaming. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario Party Superstars, and Animal Crossing New Horizons are my top 3 picks. But I also dabble in other games such as the LEGO adventure games, Jurassic World Revolution, and Pokémon Brilliant Diamond.

Teaching is an art. It is a science. It is a lot of work. I am currently working towards becoming a classroom teacher. As a teacher, you too, are always learning.

Through my lesson planning, I found that not many free teacher resources exist. I have created a free database for teachers to download worksheets that I have personally made. Nothing I make will be plagiarized, under copyright, or have any infringed material.

As a teacher, you can be confident that the free materials I provide are made for you in times of need and can be trusted. Check out the TEACHER RESOURCES TAB for more.
